To qualify, you must pay a one-time and valid fee for your airline incidental statement credit application. There is no fee if your application is made online. There is also no fee if you are a frequent flier. Each card member is allowed to make one online application for each airline or foreign transaction fees they want. Credit card members who meet the qualifications are entitled to one discount per dollar spent on their cards.
The savings account offer benefits for those business travelers who frequent international flights. Each time they earn a point, they receive five percent off their balance. Also, one of the benefits of having a Preferred Rewards Program is the ability to earn up to three percent cash back on all purchases, including gasoline purchases. The company does not limit the number of points you can earn in a calendar year. You do, however, have to be flying in to receive the bonus points. The three percent cash back offer is good for the first year.
A limited time special offer begins Dec. 7 and continues through Jan. 7th. Cardholders who present their January statements will be entitled to two percent savings on all eligible incidental fee charges they make this month. This offer is good for the first year only. Cardholders who receive statements before this date do not qualify. If cardholders already have a Preferred Rewards Visa card, the savings will be applied to their account.
The Airline Accident Insurance Plan or ASAP Plan has been around since 2005. This plan is not yet offered nationally but is expanding throughout the United States. Cardholders can enroll online for a free application fee, making them eligible for up to three percent savings on airline tickets booked using the card. Cardholders also get a fifteen percent savings on car rentals, fifteen percent savings on hotels, and five percent on cruises. If you have an ASAP account, you do not need to pay an application fee.
Cardholders are granted unlimited access to all the perks outlined above, as well as bonus points that can be redeemed at the end of the year. Cards must be used in order to be eligible. A secondary benefit from airline incidental credit cards is the opportunity to earn air miles toward free airline tickets. Only the primary cardholder may redeem the miles.
